After the Blue explores the quiet moment that follows upheaval — the space where change has occurred and renewal begins. A diagonal sweep of gold moves through settling earth tones and traces of blue, suggesting energy in motion and a landscape gradually reclaiming itself.
The work reflects on resilience, transformation, and the traces left behind by experience. The storm has passed, but its presence remains within the layers — a reminder that growth often emerges through periods of disruption and change.
Created through an intuitive process of layering, scraping, and building the surface, the painting allows materials to reveal their own rhythms. The contrast between movement and stillness creates a sense of release — the stillness of something that has finally exhaled.
