Planet in Bloom
Planet in Bloom reflects on cycles of growth, renewal, and transformation, exploring the resilience and continuous regeneration found within the natural world. Rather than depicting nature literally, the work responds to the rhythms, energy, and organic processes that shape life around us.
Working intuitively with acrylic and mixed media, I allow the composition to emerge organically, responding to the movement and behaviour of the materials as they settle across the surface. Layers of texture and colour build gradually, echoing the organic intelligence of nature — not as a direct representation, but as an expression of its underlying rhythms.
The work invites reflection on our connection to the living world, the delicate balance of growth and change, and the beauty found within cycles of transformation. Each viewer is encouraged to bring their own interpretation and personal connection to the evolving forms within the painting.
Part of The Blue Series, Planet in Bloom continues my exploration of nature, memory, transformation, and the unseen connections between the external world and our inner landscapes.
