Somewhere Only We Know
Somewhere Only We Know opens The Blue Series in a place of intimacy and memory. Against a luminous blue ground, warm bursts of yellow, lime, orange, and terracotta emerge from the centre like light breaking through water, or something deeply personal rising to the surface.
The work explores the private spaces that exist beyond the physical world — the places held within memory, emotion, and personal experience. It is an invitation into a quiet moment of reflection, where hidden stories and personal connections can emerge.
Created through my intuitive painting process, the piece captures the relationship between inner landscapes and the world around us, allowing each viewer to bring their own memories, emotions, and interpretations to the work.
