Suspended in Time draws its inspiration from the quiet mystery of the moon and the swirling forces of a vortex. It reflects on the way celestial bodies influence our inner tides, suggesting that the rhythms of the natural world and our own emotional landscapes are more deeply connected than we often realise.

The painting explores cycles, transition, and transformation—those moments when we find ourselves suspended between stillness and movement, certainty and the unknown. I hope viewers feel drawn into the work, as though time has slowed and they have entered a space for quiet reflection, where the pull of gravity becomes both physical and emotional.

Created in acrylic and mixed media on canvas, I worked intuitively, allowing layers of rich blue, texture, and luminous bursts of light to emerge through an instinctive process rather than a predetermined composition. The vortex-like form and presence of the moon evoke both cosmic wonder and inner contemplation, while leaving space for each viewer to bring their own memories, emotions, and interpretation to the work.
